BiblioTech, replacing physical books with e-books in public libraries

BiblioTech bookless public library

Finding a book in a big public library is not an easy task that consumes a lot of time and efforts.  Replacing traditional paper books with a bank of e-Readers for borrowing e-books, the “BiblioTech” is a digital public library that will allow easy excess to a vast collection of books. Based on the design of Apple retail stores, the hi-tech library will present e-Readers to its members for up to two weeks to go through the e-book, like a regular library book, which will become dead after the allotted time period.

Scheduled to be opened later this year in Bexar County, Texas, the new library will significantly help in preventing the theft of books from public libraries. Initially the BiblioTech will lend one hundred unspecified e-Readers to the library members, which is sure to increase gradually according to the demand of books. Moreover, the digital library will boost the sales of e-book to a great extent.
